I figured I should blog about this since I frequent it so often. During our most recent escapade, Pritisha, Yolanda, Jonathan, Jenny, and I stopped at Dairy Queen to use some of my remaining coupons for medium blizzards. Located at Trafalgar and West Broadway, this is a medium-sized location. However, there is a fair amount of seating at this location, which makes it convenient for hanging out, and mafia ;D And a “secret” about this place? If you show them your UBC Student Card, they’ll give you 10% off! …writing about Dairy Queen now has me craving a blizzard… *sigh*
Blizzards
During this visit, we got medium sized blizzards. Usually I get a large blizzard (you can never have too much frozen milk!), but the coupons this time were for medium blizzards. For (deprived) people who don’t know, a blizzard is essentially ice cream/frozen milk mixed with chunks of candy or other “toppings” in an extra thick mixture; the signature of the blizzard is that they flip the blizzard upside down for you before they give it to you to show that it is too thick to slide out of the cup. Anyhow, the flavours I usually get are Cookie Dough, Mint Oreo, or Kit Kat. Clearly, I love them since I keep coming back
